Sunbelt Sandstone ASTM Test Results
ASTM Testing was completed on Sunbelt Sandstone on November 30, 2009 by Dallas Laboratories, Inc. A sample taken from each of the individual color variations was tested. Each sample was mined from the various pits that collectively make up Formation #3 in San Saba, County, Texas. If you are considering Sunbelt’s sandstone for your project and would like to have the test results, we will be happy to provide you with the contact information for Dallas Laboratories, Inc. as well as sample stones.
The purpose of having this testing completed on Sunbelt’s sandstone was to provide our customers with a more specific understanding of the characteristics of our sandstone, and the formation from which it is quarried. We have found that our customers, builders and, most notably, architects, desire to know more about our sandstone and its applicability to the intended project. Sunbelt’s sandstone has relatively high quality physical characteristics when compared to other sandstone found in other parts of Texas. Because of its high quality, and as an added incentive to select Sunbelt Stone as its preferred vendor, we want our customers to know that we strive to adhere to the strictest quality control standards as an integral part of the building process.
